![]() ![]() A different front desk person walked in from outside and when I mentioned I had an issue and had been waiting for several minutes, his response was "I was just outside talking to my GM". I walked down and waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up to help me out. Later in the afternoon, water started dripping out of the top of the tank on the toilet, so I tried to call front desk and the phone didn't work. When I checked in, I asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and the gentleman that helped me was very nice. The hotel is in a quiet area, which is a huge plus, but I was disappointed with several other things. I recently stayed at the Courtyard in Addison for a night and didn't have the best experience. Thank you so much for helping our family during this time. There are enough words to express my families gratitude to Marriott. Juan also made the checkout experience beyond effortless. Justine was just a phone call away and would bring us anything that we needed so we wouldn't have to leave the room. I just want to say during this time we had beyond wonderful customer service. I called the hotel back and spoke with Juan and explain the situation and was able to cancel the last night so we could stay home and deal with the water extraction, plumbers etc. We were advise the next morning that our water was on back on but the pipes burst and my sons room was flooded when we came home to check on everything. I spoke with Justine at the front desk and she and her manager was able to put us in a handicap assessable suite which was close to the door. We checked in on 02/20/21 for 2 nights and once we got there and I saw the room I became upset because it would not accommodate my husbands disability needs. We were affected by the winter storm in Texas.
